How do we find our real purpose in life?
What are we here to do?
How can we take steps in a kind, self-caring, and joyous way?

Where purpose comes from
When reading these questions, the first thing that came to mind was, “Oh boy, I don’t know if the answer will feel sexy enough.”
Uncovering our purpose requires quiet, slow, invisible work.
The answer was evident in the dozens of self-help and spiritual books I’ve read: purpose comes from within.
It’s not found in the perfect job or relationship.
It's not reserved for a time in the distant future, shrouding itself from view like a mythical creature.
Purpose reveals itself every time we feel good.
When we feel good, that indicates we’re aligned with Spirit.
When we’re aligned with Spirit, we’re “on purpose”.
Our purpose changes based on what feels good in each moment.
What gives you a sense of purpose
If purpose isn't found outside of us, then how do we uncover it within?
In Happiness is the Way, Dr. Wayne Dyer says:
“What does give you a sense of purpose are your internal motivations; that is, what you feel about yourself, how you evaluate what you are, and how much you’re growing and experiencing the world. When you’re focused on these things, you’re no longer looking for your life’s mission–it will find you.”
This is the lens I want to approach finding purpose.
Focusing on internal motivation: how we feel about ourselves, how we judge ourselves, and the importance of growth and experience.
Without a doubt, if we focus on those areas, our sense of purpose will find us.
You have a purpose!

Good Question
Move up the ladder to higher vibrations by writing at the top of a blank page:
How do I feel about myself?
and see what flows from your pen. No judgment or editing.
