The thing no one tells us about manifesting
Once we learn this manifesting becomes easier. We'll feel confident in our next steps and become the powerful creators we're meant to be!
The underlying principle that turns a wish into reality is this: thoughts become things.
Mike Dooley says, "Our words and our actions are merely our thoughts given wings. Our thoughts are where everything begins."
They're the reason our life looks the way it does.
He says if we think thoughts of material things those thoughts will become material.
If we think of events or circumstances, our thoughts will rearrange the forces and players in our lives to make them happen.
We have the power to create any life we want.
Except there's one major obstacle to this complete power, we might be unaware of.
No, it's not other people or unexpected events.
Mike Dooley says:
"The only mitigating factors are your other thoughts, which can take on a variety of 'shades', which are typically referred to as your beliefs, expectations, anticipations, and intentions."
This changed everything for me.
The thing no one tells us about manifesting
Most of what we hear about manifesting tells us to focus on the obsession and visualizing part.
But hardly anyone clarifies this caveat that other thoughts we also think can negate or cancel out the main one we want to manifest.
For example, if someone wants a ton of money but deep down believes that wealth means feeling overwhelmed and stressed, then the manifestation of that wealth will be much lower.
So when we want something but cannot manifest it, it's in our best interest to find out what other thoughts may be blocking us.
This changes the game because we no longer have to sit here and wonder why manifesting isn't working.
We can know that 1. thoughts become things and 2. if the thought we're focused on isn't becoming a "thing," it's likely because of a competing thought overpowering the other thought's ability to manifest.
This creates a foundation for us to move forward to the next step: sussing out the beliefs that sabotage us.
For now, savor what we just learned.
Read this post several times today and repeat to yourself that thoughts become things.
As Mike Dooley says, "Our thoughts are what is 'real'; they're the starting point of all that will become tangible in our lives . . ."

Good Quote
“Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.”
- Bob Proctor
Good Question
Move up the ladder to higher vibrations by writing at the top of a blank page:
Write about a time when my thoughts became things. Do I believe that's still possible?
and see what flows from your pen. No judgment or editing.

Thank you for this reminder. I love Mike Dooley. I also once learned David Hawkins' "formula" for manifestation is 1. Set intention 2. Release all counter-intentions, emphasis on the second part! It's simply ourselves and our attachments that get in the way.
