Do nervous system hacks actually work? I'm putting them to the test
I'm testing nervous system hacks right now to see what actually helps with stress. Follow along to find out what works—and what’s just hype.
Have you ever wondered if all those spiritual wellness hacks actually work? Or how those science-backed mental health tips can be used in real life?
I’ve been thinking a lot about how spiritual spaces can throw out ideas with no real evidence—and how mental health resources, while valuable, can feel dry and hard to apply.
So, I had a thought…
What if instead of purely breaking down The Power of Nervous System Regulation this month I run an experiment, too, and try all the things?
What if I test out different nervous system regulation techniques—both the trendy and the scientific—and report back on what’s helpful, what’s just hype, and what’s worth your time?
The experiment: real-life testing, no fluff
For the month of February, I’ll be diving into different practices, tracking what happens, and sharing my honest experiences with you.
This won't be about adding more to your plate or doing regulating activities 24/7.
It’s about finding simple, doable ways to feel more grounded and safe in your body—especially on the days when life is overwhelming.
Like working out, nervous system regulation isn’t a one-time fix; it’s about building a foundation.
I’ll be experimenting with what works in real life, including:
✅ Small, manageable steps that actually stick
✅ The balance between structure and flexibility
✅ How to create a nervous system “workout” that feels good—not like another task
I’ll share everything—the wins, the fails, and the surprises—so you don’t have to waste your time on things that don’t work.

I can’t wait to take you on this journey with me!
Good Quote
“There is no fixed physical reality, no single perception of the world, just numerous ways of interpreting world views as dictated by one's nervous system and the specific environment of our planetary existence.”
- Deepak Chopra
Good Question
Move up the ladder to higher vibrations by writing at the top of a blank page:
On a scale of 1-10 how regulated does my nervous system feel in calm situations? Would my life improve if I worked on regulating more?
and see what flows from your pen. No judgment or editing.
Good Thinking
Good Action
Make a list of at least 3 things that help you feel calm and safe. Try your own experiment this month if you feel inspired to. Is there a pattern between what you chose? What part of your day can you start doing these activities that regulate you?
